Online consultations are now available for all patients.

From 1st July 2014, Bulk billed consultations will no longer be offered due to changes in the Medicare incentives for Telehealth. 

Full consultation fees will be required as a deposit PRIOR to the consultation. Medicare component of the consultation can be claimed after the consultation. Online claims can be lodged at the time of consultation, if your banking details are registered with Medicare.

Minimal hardware is required, any PC or Mac with a microphone and webcam is likely to be able to conduct the consultation, no additional software is required.

Online consultations are conducted using GoToMeeting. You can test if your computer  can successfully conduct the consultation here.

Online consultations can also be conducted via Skype however this requires installation of the Skype software.

Patients or doctors requesting an online consultation by phone, fax or online will receive detailed instructions explaining how to prepare for the consultation.
